This application was part of a proposal to the US Fish and Wildlife Service to help reinvigorate their volunteer program. I designed the UX and UI of this application, and built a demo video in After Effects to show how the application would work. This video was presented to clients in an example customer journey that involved two profiles ("Natalie" and "Perry") traveling through our funnel.
In recent decades, their volunteer numbers have decreased dramatically, and the profile of their average volunteer continues to get older and older. They wanted help recruiting a younger generation of volunteers.
We aimed to make the volunteering process simpler and more organic. Instead of downloading, printing, and mailing in dozens of forms from the website, we gave volunteers a way to sign up for experiences in a quicker and more familiar way.
